Nothing like a good book to read. Our last book that both Brody & I read was A Thousand Splendid Suns - written by Khalid Hosseini - who also wrote The Kite Runner (one of our favorites). It was a fast read; absolutely fascinating and horrible and good all at the same time. I love when books can really draw you in so that you are literally emotionally attached to the characters. Highly recommended.


Currently I am reading A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. Initially, it was difficult for me to get into it, but Dickens isn't known to be a brilliant writer for nothing - I'm hooked to say the least. Although it's a book that many may remember reading in HS, I'm sorry to say that I don't recall a thing. However, I feel that it makes it all the more griping to not know what is going to happen next.
